The completion of the Northeast Cargo Campus at O’Hare International Airport is more than just an infrastructure project—it’s a vital step in enhancing Chicago’s role as a top global shipping hub. This approximately 900,000 sq. ft. campus represents the largest airside cargo development in the U.S. in over a decade. Milhouse is proud to have played a crucial role in this project. We led the structural and electrical engineering design of the warehouse facility, provided construction management services, and oversaw the mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection subconsultant. The project achieved LEED Silver certification, showcasing the team's commitment to sustainable design and innovation. Chicago Community Builders Collective (CCBC) recently broke ground on the demolition and construction of Bally's Chicago Casino! Milhouse is a member of the CCBC, the general contractor on the project. CCBC is a minority-led construction partnership focused on 'the growth of our city, communities, businesses, and people.' The Bally's project will include a 500-room hotel tower, a 3,000-seat theater, six restaurants, and a 2-acre public park.
