With nearly three decades in this field, Michelle has built a career defined by expertise, leadership, and advocacy. As President of AAC Contracting, LLC since 2022, she leads with a deep understanding of construction and compassion for her team while focusing on process improvements across the organization. Her experience as a GC and customer, combined with her education from Rochester Institute of Technology and Alfred State College provide her the foundation for her current role of leading her incredible team into a future filled with growth and success. Michelle is not only passionate about this industry but also elevating women in construction, actively mentoring young professionals, contributing as a Rochester Women’s Council member, National Association for Women in Construction member, and CREW member. She also gives back to the next generation as an adjunct professor at RIT and chairperson for the Young Women of Distinction Scholarship Award Event.?Her progression from construction professional to industry leader exemplifies her resilience, commitment to process efficiency, and the transformative impact of mentorship in shaping the future of construction. Our team recently wrapped up a 20,000 SF renovation that transformed a former Barnes & Noble bookstore into a vibrant new space for RIT’s University Advancement Department. The new environment is designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and community, featuring open spaces, natural elements, and state-of-the-art facilities.
