?? Ridgewood Drive Improvements?? This winter our team completed the Ridgewood Drive Improvements Project in Fort Wayne. In partnership with the City of Fort Wayne, we've enhanced sidewalks, curbs, ADA ramps, storm drainage, street lighting, and restored surrounding areas. Despite challenges, our switch to concrete pavement ensured high-quality results. Safety was our top priority, with a full closure strategy and strong collaboration ensuring a safe work environment. In February, we were honored to receive the 2025 Excellence in Concrete Award from the Indiana Chapter of the ACPA for this project. Interested in learning more details? Last Friday, our Milestone team came together for our annual kick-off event. The event brought together employees from all areas to help prepare for the upcoming construction season. This year, we are heading into the season with a strong focus on safety and teamwork, ready to tackle new challenges and achieve great results! Thank you to our guest speakers, Kevin Wanzer, for spreading your infectious laughter, and Mike Abrashoff, for sharing your military experience and leadership knowledge. My Daughter Ava- I want to be the best version and role model for my daughter so she knows that she can grow up to be a strong woman, just like me. What do you love most about your job? The people. Every day it’s about being in and around our people to make sure they have what they need in order to be successful. When they are successful, then our company is as well. How do you define success? To me success is about having the courage, love, and determination to continually push my limits and strive to achieve the goals I set for myself. Once I reach a goal, it’s about pushing myself to achieve that next step that will set me apart. What is the biggest career challenge you have had to overcome? I’ve changed career pathways several times over the course of my adult life. I moved from the world of education, to retail, to now Road Construction. In doing so, it was hard to find the right company who would take a chance and bet on me as well as find the right company that felt like it was the right environment to continue to grow in my new skill sets.
