Thank you to our friends at the Bayou State Corvette Club for supporting Miles Perret Cancer Services through their annual car show. This year, club members raised $10,000 for local families fighting cancer. Thank you for supporting our mission and making a direct impact in the lives of our client families.

Miles Perret Cancer Services is a haven for individuals fighting, surviving, and living with cancer in Acadiana. We are here to provide emotional support, guidance, resources, programs, and most of all, hope. Our services are comprehensive regardless of age or circumstances. No appointment is necessary, and there are no qualifications. Services are provided at no charge thanks to our generous community. Additionally, our mobile unit extends services to communities throughout our 10-parish service area. Since its inception in 2002, MPCS has served over 21,000 local families.

This month at MPCS's Creative Expressions class, we embraced the spirit of Mardi Gras with beautiful king cake bead art. A perfect celebration of creativity and tradition! ?? We want to say a huge thank you to the students and families at Ascension Episcopal Schools. The three campuses came together to raise money on behalf of MPCS through Change for Miles. For the second year in a row, the high school students hosted a chili cookoff as a part of this campaign. Together they raised $11,826! Again, thank you so much for your support!

Blessed to be the recipient of the 2025 Distinguished Alumnus Leadership Award from the Leadership Institute of Acadiana! This award is bestowed on Leadership Lafayette alumni whose professional and civic contributions to the community correlate with the goals, mission, and vision of LIA. It also reflects the following criteria: leaders who have made substantial contributions to the community; innovative, resolute, ambitious, inspirational leaders; and, those who embody the pillars of servant leadership.
