Tammy Doolin has worked for USA&M, which became part of Miles in December 2023, for nearly 17 years. The ADR manager is adept at juggling the varied demands of her work.?? ? “Multitasking is the name of the game,” says Tammy. “I don’t know what’s going to be thrown at me. I could be scheduling cases, or if I’m covering the office, I’m taking care of clients as they come in and troubleshooting Zoom or technical issues. When clients are in the office, their needs come first. Some days, I’m putting out fires in every direction, but at the end of the day if the mediators are happy and the clients are happy, I’ve done my job.”?? ? Tammy says the people at Miles make her work a pleasure. “I absolutely love the people I work with from the staff to the mediators,” she says. “Everyone is just so enjoyable to work with — the environment we work in is very much like a family … we always know we all have each other’s back.”?? ? The ability to prioritize is key to her success. “You can be hit with many things at the same time, so being able to prioritize what comes first is important,” she says. “You have to figure out what the most important and time-sensitive thing is and do that on the fly.”?? ? Tammy is married to James, her high school sweetheart. They have three grown children-Cailin, Shane, and Grant, and two grandchildren, Jed and Boden. ? Tammy is an avid baker who also loves horses; she’s been riding since she was 16 years old. (Her daughter, Cailin, is a horse trainer who runs a horsemanship school.)?? ? “I’ve loved horses since I was a little kid,” she says. “The best part of horses is connection — there’s something very soulful and honest about them. You build trust with your horse and there is so much the human world can gain from them.”? ?
