Milca Roja? is an iconic raspberry flavored soda founded in Nicaragua in 1959. Milca created the red soda category in Nicaragua by being the first red soda earning the social media accolade #LaRojaOriginal (“the original red”). Milca was introduced to the United States in 1988 and is available at major retail and grocery chains such as Walmart, Target, Publix, Winn-Dixie, Sedanos, Northgate and Vallarta markets – mostly in the Southeast and the West Coast. Milca re-entered the Nicaraguan market in 2020 after a 22-year hiatus due to a partnership with the largest distributor in Nicaragua – Compa?ia Cervecera de Nicaragua. Today, Milca is available in every supermarket, convenience store, gas station, restaurant and bar in Nicaragua.
