It’s hard to believe I founded this company nearly 35 years ago, and in many ways it’s difficult to walk away, but I’m ready and confident that MLA is in good hands. We’ve been working towards this transition for a few years, with Brad becoming President in 2021, Denny taking over business operations in 2023, and my daughter Ashley Drake joining this January to assume office management and finance responsibilities. I’m excited to spend more time golfing, travelling, spoiling grandkids, serving the church, and volunteering with various industry organizations. We couldn't be more excited to have #Xerxes Blythewood up and running in our backyard! The facility was massive and the first new plant to open in 20+ years. Join Our Growing Team at Mike Long & Associates! We are thrilled to announce an opportunity to join our growing company as a Territory Sales Manager at Mike Long & Associates. We are seeking an experienced individual in sales, preferably within the petroleum industry, to join our team in the TX/SW US region, alongside our current representative out of the San Antonio market. Position: Territory Manager Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth in the petroleum industry within the TX, and potentially other southwest US regions. Work strategically with our current Texas territory manager, and manufacturer sales managers to optimize product and brand awareness, and generate growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Collaborate with customers and MLA manufacturer partners to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall company objectives. Analyze market trends and educate contractors, engineers, and distributors on product value proposition. Qualifications: Proven experience in sales, preferably within the petroleum industry. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to travel within the TX and potentially LA/AR/OK/NM region as needed. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
