The MI IASIU Chapter is still accepting nominations for (3) Officer positions (Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer) and (3) Board of Director positions to be voted on during our January 16, 2025 General Membership Meeting.?Please send your notification of interest along with a photo & bio to Steve Penny @ [email protected].?This is a great way for members of the chapter to get further involved. Each elected Officer or BOD member is required to participate in at least one committee and will need to attend the scheduled board meetings.?If you have any questions about the BOD responsibilities, please reach out to anyone of the Officers or current BOD Members.

Thank you to all who participated in the MI IASIU Chapter's fall seminar last week: Presenting 40 years of SIU. We had over 200 attendees this year earn 5 hours of continuing education!!! Our Key Note Speaker was Frank Sztuk and he educated the audience about his favorite topic: SIU investigations and their history. We also switched things up a little this year and had Bruce Jacobs talk to everyone about Behavioral Analysis. In addition, we had 3 additional hour long break out sessions, offering 12 additional class options in total. Thank you to all of those speakers as well!!! A special thanks to our vendors who help make this event possible each and every year. Once we have secured our date for next year's seminar, we will be sure to announce it!
