  • Register today at MigraineWorldSummit.com to claim your free registration for March 20-27, 2025. What is the Migraine World Summit? It’s a free, virtual event where the leading doctors and experts on migraine give their time to ensure patients get the most up-to-date, helpful information on migraine and headache disorders. 2025 is our tenth year anniversary! Each expert interview is 30 minutes long and goes in depth on one specific topic about migraine, suggested by our viewers. How are the topics and experts selected? Each year, our viewers suggest and vote on what topics and questions they need answered. We then match each topic with one of the world-leading experts on migraine, and we see which experts have specifically studied this topic. Is it free? Yes! Each day during the MWS, 4 topics will be available to watch for free for 24 hours. After the 24 hour viewing period, you can pay to have forever access. The proceeds go towards next year’s MWS and is donated to migraine charities and organizations around the world. What do I do with this information learned from the MWS? Due to numerous access barriers, most of us may never get to see a health care practitioner (HCP) very knowledgeable or dedicated to migraine. We can use the information learned from these experts and A) take the learnings to our HCP and ask for specific treatments or care, or B) learn about ways we can better control of migraine at home and make sure our HCP feels it is safe for us. #Migraines #MigraineAwareness #ChronicPain Dale Bond Hope O'Brien, MD, MBA Alexander Mauskop Joanna Kempner Anne MacGregor @Devika U., Medical Director,Obesity Medicine Hartford HealthCare

  • Time is ticking as Day 7 of the Migraine World Summit begins. Click on the link for your free registration to the 10th annual, online Migraine World Summit: bit.ly/mwssm Dr. Hope O'Brien explains, “The biggest frustration is in patients who have gone to a provider who have not addressed their concerns about migraine. They have not been adequately treated, or they've been given a medication that makes them feel worse or, they have not been given any support in terms of how they live through life managing their migraine. And so that's a huge frustration. Oftentimes I see patients who've been to 3 or 4 doctors who you know, have not been very helpful. What I would say is don't give up; there are resources out there that you can tap into.” If you have also been to many doctors, tried many treatments, and are struggling to find hope and control over your migraine disorder, you are not alone. Because migraine affects 1 billion people worldwide, and it's one of the leading causes of years lived with disability amongst people across their lifespan. So people live for decades with migraine. What is the one question you NEED to have answered? Click on the link for your free registration to the 10th annual, online Migraine World Summit: bit.ly/mwssm Deborah Friedman, MD, “Advocacy is important because migraine is the most common neurological disease by a factor of ten. It affects so many people worldwide…It's a huge public health problem and it doesn't get much respect. [People] don't realize what a big problem migraine is because it's largely invisible, right? You're not using a cane or a wheelchair or have some obvious physical problem. And it gets dismissed as ‘just a headache.’ And we all know that it's not just a headache, it's a neurological disease.” Watch for free for 24 hours, or purchase permanent access to this year’s Migraine World Summit. 50% of all proceeds go to migraine research, charities, and advocates, while the other half goes to helping sustain the MWS for next year’s production.
