Congress is resuming work next week on very important issues including childhood cancer research and they need to hear from you now about the Give Kids a Chance Act. The Give Kids a Chance Act will: ? Reauthorize the Pediatric Voucher Program, helping speed up the development of childhood cancer drugs. ? Ensure drug combinations are tested for children, offering more opportunities for breakthroughs. ? Strengthen the Orphan Drug Act, encouraging innovation and drug availability for rare pediatric cancers. ? Hold companies accountable for completing pediatric studies after they've committed to doing so. Benefits: ? Cost to taxpayers: Zero ? Effect on drug prices: Zero ? Increase in drug development cost< 0.1% The Give Kids a Chance Act will save kids’ lives. This is a bipartisan issue with support from both sides of the aisle. Every single one brought a small moment of big joy. ?? $10,000 research grant awarded to Beat Childhood Cancer, pushing us closer to breakthroughs for more effective and less toxic treatment options. ?? 31+ Popsicle Stands were hosted to help families fight childhood cancer, turning simple actions into mighty contributions. ?? 11 Metro Atlanta proclamations issued, recognizing our fight against childhood cancer and raising awareness across communities. ?? 126 hospitals served organic popsicles, including the all-new Arthur M. Blank Hospital. Expanding our reach means more smiles for kids battling cancer. None of this would have been possible without YOUR support! Together, we're make a difference. The holiday season brings hope, lighting a path through the darkness and reminding us of the strength found in community. ? The stars and planets in the sky seem to carry the weight of those we hold dear in our hearts like Millie and so many others. We've seen far too many young children these past few years who are now amongst the heavens, shimmering down on their family and friends too.? What gives us hope when our little ones are gone far too soon or fighting unimaginable fights? It is the belief that we can help others along this path and have better outcomes. That we can bring small moments of big joy to their days and provide more options for the fight ahead. That we can come together to honor those who came before us and continue to support those who need us now.?That's our hope. ??

Since 2021, the Mighty Millie Foundation has served over 150,000 GoodPop popsicles to kids fighting cancer in the hospital. The Popsicle Project now serves 125 locations across the country. We believe funding research for more effective and less toxic treatment options means future families will never have to hear, "there are no more options" for their son or daughter.
