Today is #EmployeeAppreciationDay and we are SO THANKFUL for our team who diligently work together to bring excellent banking services to our community. As a small token of our appreciation, we treated our team to pizza and treats over the course of the last few days.

Finally, March is here, and even though winter still lingers, we can't resist the uplifting promise of spring. What are you most looking forward to as the season unfolds? ??

We see our role as much more than just a spot to deposit checks or secure loans; we are the partners in "financing dreams", as Loan Officer Amber Bierly likes to say. Today was a memorable day for the Snyder family as they witnessed the setting of their forever home this morning, with their personal loan officer, Amber, by their side. Member FDIC. Our team selected Meals 4 Seals as the recipient of our February Casual Bankers' funds. This incredible program, which is part of the Snyder County Coalition for Kids, focuses on addressing food insecurity among students and families in the Selinsgrove Area School District. We were pleased to have Kelly Crissinger (middle), the Volunteer Coordinator, visit our Selinsgrove branch, where she kindly accepted the donation from Amanda Hovatter (left), our Community Relationship Manager, and Amber Gabrielson (right), our VP of Commercial Lending.

Last week, our very own Alisha Buck provided Mifflinburg Area Middle School students with insights into a career in banking. We appreciate the school district for giving MBTC the opportunity to showcase the banking industry and a big shoutout to Alisha for dedicating her time and expertise to the students. We hope the students enjoyed the day and we look forward to doing it again soon!

In January, our team proudly selected Transitions of PA as the beneficiary of our Casual Bankers' donation. Transitions is dedicated to offering safe, survivor-focused resources, along with prevention and education for those facing domestic violence and oppression. They are also committed to raising awareness and educating our local community on these critical issues. Members of our team and their Valentines celebrated the Mifflinburg Buggy Museum and Mifflinburg Community Parks Action Program (CPAP) at their annual gala this past weekend! Always an incredible event, the night was filled with great food, music, a live auction, and lots of community relationships.
