Sam contends that alternative metrics often proposed to replace these tests can be equally or more biased against disadvantaged students, among other points: ? In this position, I will be leading our talented team of writers and editors, shaping the editorial vision, and guiding the strategic direction of the publication. I'm honored to have this opportunity to build upon the great work of my predecessors (James Suarez and David J.) and take Midwestern Citizen to new heights. My top priority will be upholding our commitment to insightful analysis on law, policy, and society while amplifying diverse perspectives and voices. Other priorities will be increasing staff engagement as well as social media engagement.
