On Friday, Midwest Transplant Network had the privilege of hosting nearly 90 members of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Centurions Leadership Program in our Legacy Center as part of their day focused on mental health and local resources. Attendees explored meaningful conversations on well-being, including a special session with MO-KAN PET PARTNERS ASSOCIATION, a dedicated group of volunteers providing pet therapy in hospitals, mental health programs, hospice organizations, schools and more. We are grateful for opportunities like this to support important discussions on mental health in our community. And let’s be honest—having some four-legged visitors on our patio was a definite bonus!
