In business since 1937, Midland Power is a member-owned, not-for-profit electric cooperative that provides reliable, competitively priced electric energy to businesses, industries, farms and homes in 17 counties in Iowa. In addition to serving portions of Boone, Calhoun, Dallas, Franklin, Greene, Grundy, Guthrie, Hamilton, Hardin, Humboldt, Kossuth, Marshall, Pocahontas, Polk, Story, Webster, and Wright counties, Midland Power also provides electrical power to six municipal utilities: Dayton, Ellsworth, Lehigh, Livermore, Paton and Stratford. Midland Power has a headquarters office in Jefferson, branch offices in Boone and Humboldt, and line crew personnel strategically located at service centers in Boone, Humboldt, Iowa Falls, and Jefferson. Midland Power maintains more than 12,000 points of service at homes, businesses and organizations spread across 3,800+ miles of power lines.

RESCO is pleased to announce that the following individuals have been elected to its Board of Directors: * Gerry Bundle, director, Midwest Energy & Communications (MI) * Robert Cornell, manager, Washington Island Electric Cooperative (WI) * Jeff Gasteyer, director, Dunn Energy Cooperative (WI) * Chris O'Neill, president/CEO, HomeWorks Tri-County Electric Cooperative (MI) The four individuals were welcomed to the RESCO Board of Directors during the RESCO Annual Business Meeting, held Sept. 17 in Minneapolis and will be seated as directors at the November Board meeting. We thank them for their commitment to serve on the Board and their support of our cooperative! Five current Board members were also re-elected.
