To tie up Women in Construction Week, we celebrate International Women's Day. For over 100 years, International Women's Day celebrates women and their accomplishments, and seeks to further gender equality across the globe. This year, the theme is accelerate action.

Today is National Employee Appreciation Day. While we value our hardworking teams every single day, this is a perfect opportunity to remember that people are at the heart of our business. To our employees- thank you for all that you do!

The first week in March is Women in Construction Week. WIC week celebrates and promotes the role of women in the industry. This year's theme, Together We Rise, places an emphasis on the valuable knowledge and contributions of women in the construction industry. We thought we'd celebrate by re-sharing our Women in the Pavement Preservation Division video.

February is Black History month. The theme for 2025, African Americans and Labor, focuses on the various and profound ways that work and working of all kinds – free and unfree, skilled, and unskilled, vocational and voluntary – intersect with the collective experiences of Black people. This theme sets out to highlight and celebrate the potent impact of this work.
