Kicking off Week 3 of the #52ndBTA, Sheriff Peter Koutoujian, Special Sheriff Amoroso Cefalo, and Superintendent Osvaldo Vidal spoke to recruits about our incredible work at the MSO and how their role as correction professionals will impact lives across Middlesex County.

Please join us in congratulating our January 2025 Employees of the Month – Sean Greeley, Crystal McNeil and Michela Spicer. In mid-January, the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office experienced a cybersecurity incident that affected our Information Technology (IT) infrastructure. As part of the response, the MSO proactively disconnected certain internet-based systems out of an abundance of caution. Throughout the incident, multiple paydays had the potential to be negatively impacted, but the payroll team – particularly Sean Greeley, Crystal McNeil and Michela Spicer – immediately jumped into action with the sole focus of ensuring that all MSO employees would be paid on time. This required getting creative and ‘thinking outside the box.’ Payroll team members coordinated splitting their time between their desks in Woburn and state office space in Boston. As a result of their efforts, MSO employees were paid accurately and without interruption. For their dedication and diligence throughout these critical weeks, Sean Greeley, Crystal McNeil and Michela Spicer are recognized as our January 2025 Employees of the Month.
