On February 12, 2025, Pennsylvania became the eleventh state this year to propose a pay transparency law. If HB 560 is passed in its current form, Pennsylvania employers with fifteen (15) or more employees will be required sixty (60) days after passage to: - Provide pay ranges – or at least disclose a salary minimum – to candidates offered a new role or an internal promotion or transfer; - Annually notify current employees of their pay range in writing; and - Ensure transparency for jobs that require substantially similar skill, effort and responsibility.
