Promoting a social bi-cultural environment that provides quality learning activities and technical assistance to Hispanic business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals. 3. Staying abreast of legislation, policies, and programs that affect Hispanic businesses. 4. Strengthening activities that support the economic development of Hispanic firms. 5. Working closely with the Hispanic community and other Hispanic organizations in order to support the advancement, education, and economic growth of the Hispanic community and the community in general.

Last Friday, the Mid-South Latino Chamber of Commerce was present at La Noche Colombiana, an event organized by the newly established Darts Productions LLC under the leadership of Carlos Lopez. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for families to come together and celebrate the richness of Latin culture, showcasing the diversity within our communities. La Noche Colombiana honored Colombian culture and aimed to foster connections across diverse communities. Attendees enjoyed performances by renowned musical groups, including Colombia Canta y Encanta from Colombia, as well as Tropical Fusion, Tradición Cultural, and DJ Xander.

Just attended an insightful MLCC luncheon featuring Queen Titilé K. as the keynote speaker! She gave a fantastic talk on the evolving multicultural landscape of Memphis and shared how the city is embracing diversity through community outreach and innovative initiatives. As the Community Outreach Manager for Multicultural Affairs at the City of Memphis, Queen Titilé K. is doing phenomenal work in shaping an inclusive future for our city. She also encouraged everyone to embrace our cultures and truly make Memphis our home. It’s always inspiring to hear leaders who are passionate about making Memphis a better, more multicultural place for everyone. Join us for our MLCC luncheon with keynote speaker Queen Keskessa where she will be discussing the Multicultural landscape of the City of Memphis and what the city is doing to embrace this new landscape. Queen Keskessa (she/her) is the Community Outreach Manager for Multicultural Affairs at the City of Memphis, Mayor Paul Young’s Office, and the administrator of the Mayor's Multicultural Advisory Board. She is also a Volunteer International Ambassador of Peace with the Refugee Empowerment Program. With a fervent dedication to community outreach and refugee advocacy, Queen has spearheaded various impactful programs and initiatives within her community. Beyond her professional endeavors, Queen is a vibrant storyteller through public speaking, a skilled dance instructor, and an acclaimed children's book author of the award-winning series, *Nubian Mermaid Adventures*. A multilingual graduate of the University of Memphis, Queen is a proud wife and mother of two children. In her leisure time, she indulges in travel and cherishes moments with her family.
