Join us for our MLCC luncheon with keynote speaker Queen Keskessa where she will be discussing the Multicultural landscape of the City of Memphis and what the city is doing to embrace this new landscape.
Queen Keskessa (she/her) is the Community Outreach Manager for Multicultural Affairs at the City of Memphis, Mayor Paul Young’s Office, and the administrator of the Mayor's Multicultural Advisory Board. She is also a Volunteer International Ambassador of Peace with the Refugee Empowerment Program. With a fervent dedication to community outreach and refugee advocacy, Queen has spearheaded various impactful programs and initiatives within her community.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Queen is a vibrant storyteller through public speaking, a skilled dance instructor, and an acclaimed children's book author of the award-winning series, *Nubian Mermaid Adventures*. A multilingual graduate of the University of Memphis, Queen is a proud wife and mother of two children. In her leisure time, she indulges in travel and cherishes moments with her family. Committed to effecting positive change, Queen utilizes her expertise and experiences to uplift those in need within her community.
