We recently hosted the Smoky Valley High School agriculture class at our Groveland location for a behind-the-scenes tour. It was a privilege to share insights into the grain business and spark curiosity about the many opportunities in agriculture.

Since 1976, Tony has been a cornerstone of our cooperative, delivering feed, mentoring others and witnessing generations grow. His hard work, wisdom and kindness have left a lasting legacy. Since 2012, MKC has been proudly part of the SHARP program, beginning with Manhattan, Alta Vista, and Onaga. Fast forward to 2024, and we now have 14 locations recognized for their commitment to safety, including our newest additions: Moundridge, Marquette, Lindsborg, Walton, Wellington, Danville, and the Sumner County Terminal. Achieving SHARP status isn’t easy—it requires a year-long process that includes multiple KDOL visits and improvements to meet safety standards. But it’s worth it! A big shoutout to our teams for their dedication to maintaining a culture of safety and excellence! ?? #SHARP #SafetyFirst
