I’m excited to announce a critical juncture for Mid Florida Community Services to kick off the month of May, also recognized as Community Action month. For the third time since its inception in 1968, the organization has undergone a major rebrand. While the brand Mid Florida Community Services has served us well for more than 20 years, it became evident that it was time for change. Not only do our programs and services expand outside the Mid Florida region, we often get confused with other organizations utilizing a similar name. You Thrive Florida is a fresh and innovative brand that better represents our mission and desired outcomes for individuals and families served. Additionally, we believe this combined with our updated mission and vision (below) will better position us to be recognized as a leader in addressing low-income needs throughout our communities. Mission You Thrive Florida provides life changing services and opportunities to individuals and families, in an effort to improve their ability to thrive. ? Vision You Thrive Florida envisions a future where communities are working together to solve local challenges; where all individuals and families are empowered and equipped with the tools and resources to improve their overall quality of life, well-being, and opportunities to thrive. The corporate office is located in Brooksville, FL with locations throughout Hernando, Citrus, Pasco, Polk, Sumter, Lake, Hillsborough, and Volusia counties.
