Last week our Safety Department coordinated a Rope Access Training course at Priority One Safe-T in Prior Oklahoma. Another great learning opportunity for some MCR employees. Repelling tall buildings is not for the faint of heart!

Last week our foremen and managers consisting of 60-plus people attended the first annual MCR Leadership Retreat in Kansas City. Over the two-day event, we learned valuable information to help us be better leaders. A big Thank You to Kris "Tonto" Paronto for kicking the retreat off with the inspiring story of the battle his team fought throughout the night of September 11, 2012, in Benghazi, Libya. A big Thank You to the Wildsparq team; Cord Sachs, Hampton Dortch, and Will Davies for doing a great job conducting the leadership lessons. Much was learned and much will be applied. As they would say, "Leaders Ready"!

Classic case of "rust-jacking". Bulging masonry at the top floor windows is usually indicative of severe corrosion at the steel window lintels. The repair includes the removal of the brick, replacement of the corroded steel, installation of thru-wall flashing, and relaying the brick.
