What a whirlwind! It was an honor to be in Dublin for #MicrosoftAITour, giving the opening keynote about AI transformation and how every industry, business and person can use AI to create tangible value. It was a privilege to be joined by?the?GM of Microsoft Ireland, Catherine Doyle, and to have great conversations with Mark Kelly, Frankie Bates and Marie Toft on the future of startups - their opportunity to solve complex challenges with AI and our shared responsibility to foster ethical AI development. The energy in Dublin was incredible, especially as Brad Smith accepted an award from the IDA on behalf of Microsoft - recognizing Microsoft’s contribution to the Irish economy?over the past 40 years?and our continued commitment drive innovation in the EU. From there, I headed to the AI Tour London, where I joined a fantastic panel with Microsoft for Startups founders Dedy Kredo of Qodo (formerly Codium), and Riham Satti of MeVitae to discuss the lessons they’ve learned while building AI-driven companies and their experience collaborating with enterprises. Few key takeaways: 1. The AI maturity gap is growing; companies seeing the most success are the ones tying AI directly to clear, measurable business outcomes. 2. Excitement is sky-high, but responsible and secure AI adoption remains a top priority (and blocker). 3. The shift from chat to agents is happening now; 2025 will be the Year of Agents. I’m grateful for all of the conversations, warm hospitality, and opportunity to connect with so many people around the world who are shaping our future.
