I had the pleasure of joining Savannah Peterson and Dave Vellante on theCUBE podcast at Mobile World Congress 2025. A highlight of our conversation was the recent announcement that Micron is the world’s first company to sample 1-gamma DRAM technology to customers, offering higher speeds and more power efficiency for next generation CPU platforms. 1-gamma is also Micron’s first node to use EUV technology. Thank you, Syracuse University, for hosting the first Micron Day?on campus this week. It was an impressive turnout – more than 500 local high school students and faculty from SU joined Micron Technology team members to learn about the #semiconductor industry. During the fireside chat with Syracuse University's Vice Chancellor Mike Haynie and my colleague Scott Gatzemeier, MBA, we discussed Micron's partnership with Syracuse University, opportunities for high-tech careers, and Micron's vision for the future of semiconductor technology in Central New York. ? During this event, we announced an exciting achievement – the first cohort of 90 service members successfully completed a certificate program in semiconductors through the Institute for Veterans and Military Families - IVMF's Onward to Opportunity program. This new program supports service members, veterans, and military spouses pursuing rewarding careers in the semiconductor industry. ? I am proud of our strong partnership with Syracuse University, which is generating real progress in cultivating career pathways across Central New York.
