On July 14th, 2014, a gathering of eleven enthusiastic individuals at the Wrecking Bar Brewpub marked a significant milestone—the birth of the MicroLife Institute. Reflecting on that day fills me with immense pride as I see how far we’ve come. Our journey over the past decade has been nothing short of extraordinary. From those humble beginnings, the MicroLife Institute has blossomed into a beacon of innovation and hope in addressing our housing crisis. We’ve connected with tens of thousands of people, fostering a community passionate about sustainable and efficient living. Our achievements include building an award-winning cottage court, with six more groundbreaking development projects on the horizon. The recognition we’ve received as a leader in pioneering new housing solutions is a testament to our unwavering commitment to our mission and the hard work of everyone involved. Founding this organization has been one of the greatest honors of my life. It’s astonishing to think that ten years have flown by so quickly, but time truly does fly when your days are fueled by passion and purpose. As we celebrate this milestone, my heart swells with gratitude for the incredible journey we’ve shared. Here’s to another ten years of making a profound impact, creating meaningful connections, and driving positive change in our communities. Together, we are shaping a brighter, more sustainable future for housing. Will Johnston ED of MicroLife #10anniversary #growth #housing
