Black Friday is approaching, and with it, millions of packages are at risk of being lost… According to the annual report from https://Security.org, at least 58 million packages were stolen last year, with a total value of $12 billion. Despite stricter laws and security measures that offer some level of consumer protection, thieves continue to steal millions of packages, deeply impacting lives and significant festive occasions such as Christmas and Black Friday shopping. Apartment residents face twice the risk of package theft compared to those living in single-family homes. The same study revealed that one in four American adults has experienced package theft, and 4% (14 million people) reported a theft in the past three months. The average value of each stolen package was $204, meaning that nearly $3 billion in e-commerce goods were stolen last summer alone. Have you been a victim of package theft this summer?
