Allowing the majority of real people during identity verification is far more important than rejecting false ones. However, having an adjustable approach for different use cases and profiles enables risk-based decisions that enhance security in digital onboarding. Identity verification is just one part of the digital onboarding and AML process, and alignment across all components is key to effectively detecting fraud. This was the main takeaway from our recent Security by Design Meetup. We're thrilled that the event successfully addressed some of the blockers and pain points in digital onboarding for Croatia's financial industry.
