    I work with a lot of founders who want to get acquired, and surprisingly, the most common reason isn’t burnout or financial struggles. It’s that they’ve moved on to something new. This happens more than you’d think. Founders work for years, build something great, and then something else starts pulling at them. A new idea, a different opportunity, or simply the realization that they’re no longer excited about what they’re building. That’s important because if you’re no longer passionate about your startup, it’s time to move on. When you’re just going through the motions, growth slows, decisions take longer, and you lose the drive that made the business successful in the first place. Remember selling isn’t quitting.
