Our next new member shoutout is Rhythem Jain! Rhythem is a freshman from Jaipur, India studying Business and Information Analysis in Ross. She is very passionate about singing, play badminton, and love exploring new places!??????????????????????????????????? We asked her, why MWIG? "I love that MWIG is a community of strong, passionate and experienced women with aspirations similar to my own. The club provides opportunities for personal and professional development in multiple ways–ranging from educational sessions with seniors advisors to a tight-knit community. I’m excited to get started with MWIG and give back to it as a member!” We are so happy to have you, Rhythem!

Our next new member shoutout is Jaden Flach! Jaden is a freshman from Brooklyn, New York studying Environmental Science in LSA. In her free time, she loves to try new restaurants in the city and around Ann Arbor. She also really enjoys pottery when she can!??????????????????????????????????? We asked her, why MWIG? "What separated MWIG from other organizations on campus was its emphasis on education. From the very first meeting, I knew that this would be a place I could really learn my technicals while being supported by woman who share similar goals as myself.” We are so happy to have you, Jaden!

Our next new member shoutout is Dhruvi Dedhia! Dhruvi is a freshman from Mumbai, India studying Economics and Mathematics in LSA. She loves books, art, and movies (especially psychological thrillers).??????????????????????????????????? We asked her, why MWIG? "The community—everyone seemed so nice, welcoming, and smart! I know I'm going to meet many incredible people through this organization and learn so much, not only about finance but life in general. Our next new member shoutout is Anna Zheng! Anna is a freshman from Manhattan, Illinois studying business in Ross. She enjoys finding new restaurants to try, listening to music, and watching K-drama.??????????????????????????????????? We asked her, why MWIG? "I wanted to join MWIG because it is a community that was created by women for women. MWIG is one of the only clubs on campus that provides extensive preparation and resources for women to succeed in finance. I loved how supportive all the members were and how committed everyone was to helping each other develop professionally.” We are so happy to have you, Anna!

Margarete is a freshman from Fox River Grove, Illinois studying economics in LSA. In her free time, she loves to workout, go for walks, read, try new coffee shops, and hang out with friends! Her favorite coffee shop in Ann Arbor is Misfits!??????????????????????????????????? We asked her, why MWIG? "I could immediately tell MWIG was such a close knit community of women. Everyone is so driven to support each other both personally and professionally. I believe that MWIG will allow me to grow my knowledge in finance and meet like-minded peers with a passion for investment banking. I am excited for this new chapter in my life and I am looking forward to creating both mentorships and friendships through MWIG!” We are so happy to have you, Margarete!

Our next new member shoutout is Alekhya Lagisetty! Alekhya is a freshman from Novi, Michigan studying business in Ross. She enjoys painting, singing, dancing, listening to music, going out to restaurants, dressing up, and binging shows/movies. One of the movie series she loves would be the How To Train Your Dragon Trilogy!??????????????????????????????????? We asked her, why MWIG? "What originally drew me to MWIG was the fact that it was an all-woman organization that has just recently started and it was focused on building women up to be a part of an industry that is so male dominated in the business world. I also liked the fact that they made sure to take care of the financial education of women on our campus and offer them the opportunities that’ve possibly been slipping through the cracks.” We are so happy to have you, Alekhya!

Our first new member shoutout for our Winter 2024 class is Alexa Weinberger! Alexa is a sophomore from Roslyn, New York studying Economics in LSA. She loves to spend time with her friends and listen to music! Her favorite restaurant in Ann Arbor is Savas.??????????????????????????????????? We asked her, why MWIG? "The support system that MWIG has to offer is incomparable. Immediately when I went to the first event, I felt so welcomed and I knew that MWIG was a space for women to learn so much about the finance industry.
