The Center for Survivors is honored to work with interpersonal violence survivors and all others who are impacted. We provide free and confidential individual counseling, advocacy, and support groups for sexual violence to MSU students, staff, and faculty. Center for Survivors provides confidential individual counseling, advocacy, emergency shelter and support groups to survivors of intimate partner violence to MSU and the Ingham County community. Our 24-hour hotline, crisis chat, and advocacy services are offered to anyone in the greater Lansing community. This project is supported by VOCA funds, awarded by the State of Michigan, and administered by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services – Division of Victim Services. MSU Center for Survivors Volunteer Coordinator Apply at: https://lnkd.in/gJPKEqcZ The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for recruitment, supervision, training, and retention of the Survivor Advocacy Crisis Intervention Volunteers (SACI). This is a full time hybrid work eligible position. Work hours are variable and require nights and weekends. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience providing advocacy, crisis intervention, and supportive services to survivors of relationship violence, stalking and/ or sexual assault, and experience facilitating training and presentations for large groups; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
