Michigan EIBC's mission is to grow Michigan’s advanced energy economy by fostering opportunities for innovation and business growth and offering a unified voice in creating a business-friendly environment for the advanced energy industry in Michigan. Calling all Michigan Residential Contractors! The Michigan Home Energy Rebates (MiHER) Program (https://lnkd.in/gKMcTCXG) is preparing for a statewide launch in early 2025! This $210 million program seeks to retrofit 15,000 Michigan homes with energy efficiency and electrification upgrades. Excited to announce the release of our Transportation Electrification Roadmap in partnership with Clean Fuels Michigan! ????? This roadmap, informed by our organizations' industry membership - including automotive OEMs, EV charging manufacturers and service providers, utilities, consulting companies, as well as legislative and regulatory stakeholders - features key recommendations to accelerate Michigan's transition to EVs, such as: ? Supporting utilities to implement more robust transportation electrification programs by allowing longer term planning and strategic investments ? Establishing and implementing a Clean Fuel Standard ? Offering more comprehensive rebate programs to support EV adoption and charging infrastructure deployment to all Michiganders ?
