We’re excited to see movement on Senate Bills 406 and 407, which were approved with bipartisan support by the Senate Appropriations Committee today to permanently lower the age of eligibility for Michigan Reconnect to 21. This expansion opens the door to higher education for thousands of Michiganders, and ultimately improves the future prosperity of our state by increasing the number of working age adults with a post-secondary degree or credential.
