Her dedication extends to public service, having been appointed by Governor Gretchen Whitmer as a Michigan Women’s Commissioner representing the City of Detroit. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., a trustee of the Citizens Research Council, and an advisory member of the Detroit Women’s Leadership Network.
