What We Do - The Michigan Association of Environmental Professionals (MAEP) was founded in 1978. We host professional development meetings and publish newsletters throughout the year to bring relevant content to our membership; we host annual golf outings to raise funds for our Environmental Education Grant program; and we award grant funding to local schools, universities, community organizations, and other non-profits to encourage and inspire the next generation of environmental professionals. We are proud to have awarded over $215,385 to date, and counting! Our Mission - MAEP's purpose is to promote the advancement of interdisciplinary environmental education, planning, assessment, review and management.
