Yesterday over 80 board certified PAs, PA students, and other PA advocates met with around 50 legislators including Senators, Representatives, and legislative staff! The advocates were also able to hear from key policy makers including House Health Policy chair Rep Julie Rogers and Rep Carrie Rheingans - the sponsor of the Patient Led Care bill that would add PAs to the mental health code.
