Miami-Dade TPO Executive Director, Aileen Bouclé, AICP, met with TPO Governing Board Member, Honorable Christi Fraga, to discuss critical transportation projects in the northwest quadrant of the county, specifically NW 25th Street and NW 58th Street capacity projects that will reduce roadway congestion, improve safety, as well as address pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure. A field review was conducted to identify opportunities to accelerate the delivery of these projects. #MiamiDadeTPO

The Underline Phase 2 opened in April 2024, adding two miles of bike-friendly trails and green space to our city. Miami-Dade TPO, along with transportation partners, hosted a free Helmet Fitting Training Session at the TPO office where participants learned about the essentials of helmet fitting, including proper sizing, strap adjustments, and positioning techniques to ensure maximum safety and comfort while cycling. ? During the event, participants gained valuable hands-on training and received properly fitted helmets to enhance their cycling safety. ?
