Since joining the Marlins in 2021, Jesús has demonstrated a deep-rooted passion for representing South Florida on the field and in the community. He is a staple of Miami Marlins Foundation events and launched the Luzardo Family Foundation earlier this year to empower and uplift underserved children. Gearing up for another successful school year! ? ?? ?? Through a series of events, the Miami Marlins Foundation's annual back-to-school distributions set up more than ten thousand local elementary school students for success this school year. In partnership with Kiwanis Of Little Havana, the distributions took place over the span of a week, stretching from Miami-Dade to Broward and Palm Beach County. Members of our front office staff were joined by Marlins players Sandy Alcantara, Jesús Luzardo, and Eury Pérez, as well as Marlins President of Baseball Operations Peter Bendix, Marlins President of Business Operations Caroline O’Connor, and Marlins great Charles Johnson.
