#MiamiFF is excited to launch The Louies - a new fund for documentaries about South Florida made by Miamians! #TheLouies will ensure that more stories about the #305 are created and shown to the widest possible audience. ?? $100K will be shared between six recipients producing shorts to full-length documentaries about the history and culture that makes our region unique. ?? Each of the films will be screened at the festival, ensuring a wider platform for local filmmakers. ?? Selected filmmakers will be able to use the Lynn and Louis Wolfson II Florida Moving Image Archives at no cost.
