Her extensive experience, starting as a File Clerk in Transit Planning in 1989 where she created the Miami-Dade Transit Planning, Engineering, Construction & Communication files for various MDT projects, not limited to the Metrorail, Metromover, and Metrobus projects, and worked with contracts, has allowed her to advance through various roles, including Clerk Typist, Secretary of the Chief Project Control Division and ultimately to her current position as Administrative Secretary. As a dedicated Project Manager at Miami-Dade County DTPW’s Highway Bridge Engineering Division, Gabriel Delgado, P.E. brings a wealth of expertise and passion to the department. With 18 years of experience in the public transportation industry and a solid six-year tenure at DTPW, he excels in overseeing complex bridge projects from initial planning, design, and support in the Construction phase. Gabriel holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Florida International University, which complements his hands-on experience managing significant projects such as the Venetian Causeway Bridge Replacement and the 17th Avenue Bascule Bridge PD&E project.
