Officially, today is my last day as the Director and CEO of the Department of Transportation and Public Works for Miami-Dade County. Over the past few years, I've had the pleasure of building and leading a great team of professionals focused on improving Miami-Dade County's public transportation services and public works infrastructure. I'm truly proud of the accomplishments of the department. I'm also honored to have received a proclamation from Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, Chairman Oliver Gilbert III, and the Board of County Commissioners designating November 20th, 2024 "Eulois Cleckley Day". Through their support along with the collaboration from many federal, state, and local partners, business industry, and communities throughout the county, we have made tremendous strides. The future is bright and I am so grateful! #DTPW #SHIFT305 To read more about our accomplishments, click on the following link: https://lnkd.in/eCd2d-74

The Marshall L. Davis, Sr. African Heritage Cultural Arts Center is the nucleus of arts learning, training and access for Miami-Dade County’s African-American community. The Center promotes and fosters the rich, diverse cultural perspective of people of African Heritage through high quality instruction for children and youth in dance, drama, instrumental music, vocal music, media and visual arts; the nurturing of in-house performing arts companies; a residency program for emerging artists; as well as exciting performances and visual arts exhibitions for the public. Their staff recently wrapped some County buses to amplify their message and programming. Miami-Dade County DTPW was pleased to join them for a photo shoot and laud them for their service to #OurCounty #GoMiamiDade

With Veterans Day this week, today we gathered at the Miami-Dade Main Library to celebrate and honor the veterans within DTPW. The event was filled with moments of pride and gratitude, from the powerful presentation of colors by the Southern Command Color Guard to the heartfelt reflections shared by our veteran team members. Director Eulois Cleckley and SOUTHCOM Sergeant Major Joseph Hissong led the ceremony, presenting each veteran with pins and certificates to recognize their continued service to our community. To all our veterans, thank you for your unwavering dedication—you remind us every day what it means to serve. #ServingThenServingNow #GoMiamiDade

World Kindness Day ?? is a global celebration that promotes the importance of being kind to each other, to yourself, and to the world. Our Metrobus Operator, Jeffery, embodies these qualities perfectly. In October, he helped an elderly blind man cross a busy intersection in #OurCounty—a small gesture that took only minutes but left a lasting impact. This is what many of our bus operators showcase each day, staying vigilant, empathetic, and patient. Today, let’s all take a moment to spread kindness! Happy #WorldKindnessDay #LoveYourOperator #GoMiamiDade
