Thank you to Portland Business Journal for recognizing our Provider Police Joint Connection Program, a groundbreaking initiative designed to strengthen partnerships between law enforcement and service providers to better support individuals in need of recovery support services, with the Healthcare Innovation Award. Over the past year, this program has demonstrated the power of collaboration, leading to: ? Enhanced access to services for individuals experiencing mental health or substance use challenges. ? Increased trust between community members, providers, and law enforcement. ? Reduced reliance on emergency services and the criminal justice system, ensuring individuals are connected to care rather than crisis responses. These outcomes would not have been possible without the unwavering commitment of our community partners and the support of our funders. We are especially grateful for their shared vision of a compassionate, person-centered approach to public safety and care. At the Mental Health & Addiction Association of Oregon (MHAAO), we remain dedicated to building on this success, expanding peer-driven support, and continuing to help those in need find stability and hope. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. Together, we’re making a tangible difference in our community. #Collaboration #MentalHealth #CommunityPartnerships #PeerSupport #InnovativeSolutions
