We are thrilled to announce that psychologist,?Ann Friedman, Ph.D has joined MHA of Greater Houston as?Director of Workplace Wellness. ? Dr. Friedman brings a wealth of expertise to this role, having worked with over 60 businesses, 100 nonprofit organizations, and 200 educational institutions teaching mindfulness, conflict resolution, and relational resilience across America.?She also provides?mindfulness training to individuals of all ages to overcome personal challenges. ? Dr. Friedman, certified in Mindfulness Facilitation (UCLA) and Cognitively Based Compassion Training (Emory University), brings expertise in Collaborative Communication, a proven method to enhance employee engagement. ? Dr. Friedman served as an Adjunct Professor in the University of Houston Counseling Psychology Graduate Program for ten years.?She holds a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from U.H. She completed her Internship in Clinical Psychology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) and her Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at Baylor College of Medicine.
