MGM National Harbor recently hosted its inaugural Community Champions Brunch, a celebration of the incredible local organizations, non-profits, and individuals who are making a real difference in the community. During the brunch, we had the privilege of honoring the recipients of the 2024 MGM Resorts Foundation grants—an initiative that has been supporting local communities for more than?two decades. This year, our employees raised an impressive $275,000 to support causes addressing critical issues like affordable housing, education, family services, and food insecurity. We’re proud to continue working alongside local organizations to create lasting change. Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected DMV.

Ahead of the Washington Commanders playoff game against Detroit, MGM National Harbor hosted an unforgettable employee pep rally filled with fun giveaways, game day snacks and special appearances by Commanders legends Doc Walker and Fred Smoot, along with Major Tuddy and the Command Force. After all, he’d worked at this $1.4B resort before and assumed he had the market, property, and team all figured out.
