As the original and largest teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, Mass General trains the next generation of leaders in science and medicine. The Massachusetts General Hospital Psychiatry Academy provides prominent (CME/CE) postgraduate education for health care professionals, patients, caregivers and other stakeholders who value the highest standards of clinical care. Applying the faculty and resources of the Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Psychiatry, we work with clinicians, departments, governments, and other entities to improve the mental health of patients worldwide through innovative teaching methods, technology, educational research, and institution level consultation. Since its founding in 2005, the Psychiatry Academy has educated thousands of clinicians through comprehensive, sequential, iterative, interactive, and innovative educational programs.

Introducing the Center for Comprehensive Healing: Advancing Whole Person Healing Through Research and Community We are excited to launch The Center for Comprehensive Healing (CCH) in collaboration with Mass General Brigham The CCH will evaluate, advance, and disseminate transformative practices that support an individual's innate ability to heal. Through collaborative research, continued medical education, and holistic, evidence-informed services in underserved communities, we strive to enable progress toward whole person health. The Center will participate in advancing knowledge, access and deeper research in integrative and holistic healing, by bridging cutting-edge science with real-world application—making complementary and integrative healing more accessible for individuals, practitioners, and healthcare systems alike. What We’re Building: ??Research – Identifying the most effective healing practices and leading groundbreaking research on modalities that enhance patient well-being, including creating a multi-modal assay for measuring healing. ??Convenings – Bringing together researchers, practitioners, and the community to exchange insights and hands-on integrative practices. ?? Community Health – Partnering with local organizations and health centers to embed healing practices into healthcare systems, ensuring accessibility for all. ??
