Managing budgets on any construction project has its challenges and pitfalls. For #museums and #cultural institutions, those challenges are typically compounded by the complexities of the visitor experience design, stakeholder dynamics, and the financial position of the governing non-profit. Join MGAC’s David Ben-Israel, LEED AP, RMP, for a webinar that will delve into the ways a museum can manage project budget challenges to achieve its organizational objectives. The webinar will focus on three core topics: project goals, project funding proformas, and design to budgets. We will look at how these topics are interconnected and how a museum can proactively set up a project for success. Interested in attending? Reach out to David directly via LinkedIn.

MGAC is proud to announce the completion of the HomeRise (formerly Community Housing Partnership), San Cristina building in #SanFrancisco. Originally built in 1913, this historic single-room occupancy building underwent a full renovation to enhance structural stability, energy efficiency, and safety. MGAC served as the #ProjectManager for updates that included exterior restoration, upgraded plumbing and electrical systems, a new elevator, and modernized community spaces. With its 58 units, San Cristina continues to provide vital housing for low-income residents. We’re honored to preserve its history while creating a safer, more sustainable living environment for the community.
