MAYHEM by Lady Gaga released last Friday! Here is an intern review on Gaga’s new album: Favorite songs: Abracadabra Zombieboy Blade Of Grass Least Favorites (potentially controversial): How Bad Do U Want Me Die With A Smile I absolutely loved the reintegration of dance pop into Gaga’s music, I think there are so many unique tracks and samples that Lady Gaga plays with that make this album really high quality pop. How Bad Do U Want Me and Die With A Smile are only my least favorites because they don’t feel as on-brand with creating interesting and different sounds. Although Pop isn’t my preferred genre, I can acknowledge an excellent Pop artist when I hear one: I enjoyed this album.

Rolling Stone's Future of Music Showcase at SXSW 2025 features over 20 up-and-coming artists; here are a few of our favorite artists. Laila!: Her hit song, Not My Problem, blew up on social media, but honestly doesn't do her talent total justice. Her vocals are gorgeous on a smooth RnB sound; definitely a really cool, chill vibe. Ivan Cornejo: A melodic artist who plays in a regional Mexican-style with a romantic voice. Most of his music has a downbeat, slightly sad vibe, but it's excellent. Hannah Bahng: Has a lot of potential because she is filling a really popular niche of sad girl pop with a full yet soft voice. Samara Cyn: A really talented rapper who uses cool beats and samples and uniquely blends rap and RnB.
