Last week at the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce, Meyer Capel attorney James Schmidt led a seminar on Form I-9 compliance. Using his knowledge in labor and employment law, James educated attendees on the Employment Eligibility Verification requirements of the Immigration Reform and Control Act, avoiding costly fines, and ensuring their businesses are audit ready.
