We wanted to announce our 4th annual Wicked Whiskers on Friday, October 11. This fundraiser is one of the ways we raise money to continue our mission this next year—to save local cats in Northwest Arkansas. We listened to the feedback from previous events to make this year even better. So what’s different this year? - A full meal instead of just appetizers - THE CAT COMEDIAN Zoltan Kaszas!! - Hilarious cat content guaranteed - Judges for the costume contest, instead of relying only on applause - Table seating for everyone instead of just chairs, making it easier to eat, drink, and be comfortable - Cats! Not only will we have cats, but we will have a cute cat costume contest - The dance party was fun, but we’ve scrapped it this year to make room for other things Our venue this year offers the perfect atmosphere for this Halloween-themed event We hope to see you soon, because it’s time to get wicked! Update 6/2/24: we found a volunteer to allow us use their dumpster - thank you These are hard times for many in #NWA after the #tornadoes and we at #MewCat rescue are trying our best to locate lost cats and help rebuild. Unfortunately, we also need help as we took in 50 abused animals recently and are in urgent need to dispose a few things these abused and sick animals left behind. (See picture) We are looking for permission to use a dumpster for one truckload of discarded items and a few furniture pieces that were in our cat rescue garage to make sure future rescue cats get a healthy start. Anyone willing to give us some dumpster space? Again, we know these are trying times for many people that are impacted by the storms and we dont want to take anything away from their support… Holger Pokrandt Mew Cat Rescue
