It's been a whirlwind year. Started in El Paso and finished in NYC working as Technical Director and U19 MLS Next coach with Metropolitan Oval! It's been fun reviewing the 19s fall season and planning for our winter training schedule to really zoom in on a few areas of our game model prior to league play kicking off again in March. For the fall season, the team finished with 7 wins, 4 losses and 4 ties while going undefeated vs MLS Academies (ties vs NYCFC and NE Revs and win vs CF Montreal). We finished with 29 goals scored- 13 from build up play, 7 from counters, and 9 from free kicks- while giving up 19 goals- 1 from build up, 4 from individual actions, 5 from counters, 5 from free kicks, 3 from PKs, and 1 own goal. There are clear areas for us to make improvements and I look forward to continuing to work with all of our teams as we push into the spring half of the season.
