Judy Spooner joined our team in September 2024 as an Assistant Project Manager to now Project Manager she has since demonstrated exceptional expertise in Foundation Construction Software. She has successfully collaborated with Senior Management to leverage additional functionalities within Foundation. Additionally, Judy played a key role in the implementation of Autodesk Cloud, a construction management platform designed to enhance communication and collaboration between our office and field teams. With a background that spans from Project Engineer to Project Management, we are confident in Judy's ability to thrive in her role.

Jeff Cobb has joined the Metro team, bringing with him extensive experience in the field of building, and validating the quality of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) installations. His most recent experience involves collaboration with IT teams at a collegiate medical facility. Excited that Jeff is joining the DAS team to get back to his roots to deliver quality service to Metro’s old and new customers to help make sure sites are delivered with an outstanding understanding of scope, working with budgets, and following through with the DAS team to get projects to the final delivery to ensure all promises are provided. Our Security Division recently installed State of the Art Life Safety Power Supplies integrated with Software House IStar Panel at an East Bay University Campus.

We are pleased to welcome Josh to our team. Josh will be joining Mike Simonini in our South Bay office as our new Project Engineer. He brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning, risk mitigation, team leadership, and process improvement, among other areas. We are excited to have him on board.

We extend a warm welcome to Eric Kennedy, who is no stranger to Metropolitan Electrical, having commenced his tenure in 1997 within our low voltage department. He subsequently transitioned to the role of inside wireman in 2001 and is now serving as our Vice President of Construction Management.

Nick Dutto and Dave Lindt established Metropolitan Electrical Construction in 1981. Nicks daughters, Dena and Margie ran the halls of 2400 Third Street when it was simply a concrete corridor with a sliding glass door separating Nick and Dave’s office. Dena began her journey in the office in 1996. Both Dena and Margie come from a long line of electricians, with their grandfather, father, uncles and Dena's husband all in the trade.?With 30 years of experience in the electrical industry, Dena has diligently followed her father’s principles and ethics for running a successful business. Following the sad passing of their beloved father, Dena and Margie chose to honor Nicks legacy by continuing to operate Metropolitan Electrical Construction with the same dedication as before. While Nick’s presence will truly be missed by his family, friends and colleagues, his legacy will live on through his daughters and the exceptionally knowledgeable and professional Metro Family.
