METRO was honored to build the latest milestone for Spurs Sports & Entertainment, The SPURS Fan Shop at The Rock at La Cantera, located on the first floor of the San Antonio Spurs practice facility inside the Victory Capital Performance Center. This 1st generation finish-out is 3,084 SF of retail space, creating a unique shopping experience filled with the best San Antonio Spurs merchandise and La Cantera apparel. The spaces modular & custom retail displays enhance the Spurs brand visibility and official team colors. We were excited to build this #retail space for our local Spurs fans and the continued development of the surrounding area. METRO volunteered for an evening at Snack Pak 4 Kids San Antonio! Our team was able to assemble a total of 1,500 nonperishable snack packs feeding approximately 375 Children 4 times per month, ensuring no child goes hungry on the weekends! In Bexar County alone, over 100,000 children are considered to be food insecure, and with the help of local teachers, Snack Paks are discreetly placed in each of those children’s backpack every Friday. 🚧 Groundbreaking News! 🚨 430 W. Mill Street has been a vital part of New Braunfels' for 168 years. As the General Contractor charged with the restoring this iconic downtown building, we are in collaboration with Schumann Consulting, Chesney Morales Partners, Inc., and several other METRO trade partners. The 26,000 square-foot space will feature cutting-edge amenities tailored to teens, with a game room, an eSports arena, a recording studio, and a teaching kitchen—all within a single facility. A cafe designed for workforce development and study spaces will further enhance the center's offerings. The first floor will be home to Communities In Schools of South Central Texas, fostering student engagement and community connections. The Academy Street Gym across the street will receive updated HVAC systems, and ADA accessibility adjustments. “The Historic building of 430 W. Mill Street is more than just a preservation project to METRO; it’s an investment in New Braunfels Youth to build a stronger community.
